Once upon a time, there was a flock of little sheep! They loved to graze on the Sonnenalm pasture, eating fresh grass, delicious herbs and tasty flowers provided richly on the meadows. Hans, the farmer, had built a fence to prevent the sheep from running off.
At night, some of the sheep gathered inside the hut. The others just lay down in front of it, falling asleep by viewing the star-spangled sky above them. But there was one sheep that would always stay on the pasture. It had fallen in love with a shepherd dog who kept watch away from the flock.
The little sheep remained on the pasture for the whole summer and were excited when hikers, young and old, came to visit.
